The Sky-3 is a 240mm diameter pendant light built around a hand-blown smoked glass bell shade suspended from a matt black metal canopy and lampholder. The glass is mouth-blown in Italy using traditional techniques, giving each shade slight tonal variation in the smoke finish. An E27 bulb sits inside the glass (sold separately), with light passing through the smoked glass to create a diffused warm glow rather than direct brightness.

Designed for kitchens, dining tables and breakfast bars, the 340mm drop suits standard 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights when the pendant is hung 700-800mm above a worktop or table surface. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations. The smoked glass softens glare from filament and LED bulbs, making the pendant suitable for eye-level positions where undiffused light would be uncomfortable. The black metalwork pairs well with black tapware, handles and joinery in contemporary kitchens.

The glass shade is hand-blown rather than moulded, so the smoke density and the exact curvature of the bell shape differ slightly between individual pieces.
