This single-light floor lamp brings a cool Scandinavian look, balancing a gloss white glass shade on a slender brass stem set into a solid polished marble base. It stands 1692mm tall with an 800mm reach, so the shade sits out over a chair or a side table for reading or gentle ambient light. You can choose satin brushed brass metalwork with a white and grey marble base, or antique brass with a black marble base. Both options use a single E27 lamp and pair well with filament LED bulbs for a warm, on-trend glow.

The clean lines and natural stone suit a living room, study or bedroom that leans towards a smart Nordic style. Its slim upright stem takes up little floor space, while the angled shade points light where you want it for a book or a laptop. The heavy 12.2kg marble base keeps the lamp steady on hard floors and rugs alike, so it holds its position once you have found the right spot beside your seating.

The base is polished marble, the stem plated metal, and the shade gloss white glass, with the angle adjustable on the antique brass option. An easy-reach switch on the stem means you do not have to stoop to the floor to turn it on, and the two metre fabric cable gives room to route it neatly. Clean the marble and glass with a soft, dry cloth. We named this piece the Sinclair, and it sits within a wider range of matching lighting.
