Description

The Sinclair is a five light semi-flush ceiling light in brushed brass, its glass and brass detailing built onto a wide frame that sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging on a long drop. It is a large fitting, measuring 80cm across with a 58.4cm projection, so it needs a reasonably generous room and ceiling height to sit comfortably. Each of the five arms takes a G9 lamp rated up to 3W, which keeps running costs modest even with five lamps lit.

With an 80cm spread and a 58.4cm drop, the Sinclair works best in larger rooms with a reasonably generous ceiling height, such as open plan living and dining spaces, bigger hallways or a generously sized bedroom, rather than a compact room where it would overwhelm the ceiling and sit too close to head height. Five lamps give a broad, even wash of ambient light across the room, so it suits everyday living rather than a single, focused task light.
