Description

The Simply is an articulated wall light with a double-jointed arm and a conical metal shade finished in satin nickel, allowing the light to be angled towards a bedside, a desk surface, or out into a room. The shade houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) and is enamelled white inside to reflect light back into the beam. The backplate diameter of 140mm mounts directly to the wall via a standard circular ceiling rose fixing.

Designed for task lighting rather than ambient wash, the Simply suits bedside positions for reading, home office desks where overhead lighting is insufficient, and hallway or stairwell positions where directed light helps navigation. The 230mm maximum projection when extended gives enough reach to clear a bedside table or the edge of a desk without the shade sitting too far into the room. The articulated joints hold position once set, so the light angle remains where placed until manually adjusted.

The satin nickel finish provides a mid-tone metallic surface that sits between the warmth of brass and the coolness of polished chrome, pairing comfortably with both warm-toned and cool-toned interiors. The metal construction gives the fitting a substantial feel without adding excessive weight to the wall fixing. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor areas — bedrooms, living rooms, offices and hallways — and excludes bathrooms and outdoor applications.
