Made from polypropylene and polycarbonate, our Silvia Pendant Lampshade in Black brings a lightweight yet sturdy build to a shade with real presence. We chose these materials because they hold a crisp shape while keeping the weight low, so the pointed leaves stay sharp and defined. The form is built from overlapping pointed leaves arranged in a tight artichoke shape, layered so that each one steps up to the next in a compact, sculptural mass. In its deep black finish, the shade reads as one solid piece from a distance, then reveals its many layers as you move closer.

The Silvia works in more than one setting. It hangs neatly as a pendant lampshade above a dining table or across a hallway, and it also suits a floor or table lamp base, which makes it a flexible choice when we want a single shape repeated in different spots. It is compatible with E27 fittings, so it pairs with the bulbs most of us already keep to hand. The pointed leaves cast a gentle broken light as the glow filters between them, giving a softer spread than a plain smooth shade would.
