Description

The Silver Coral is a 464mm diameter pendant light built around a drum of coral-pattern metalwork in classic pewter finish, with a frosted glass diffuser recessed inside the lower rim. The metalwork forms an irregular lattice inspired by coral formations, creating visual texture while allowing light from three E27 bulbs to filter through both the gaps in the metal and the frosted glass below.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the pendant provides ambient and decorative light rather than task illumination. The adjustable drop ranges from 286mm to 1270mm on installation, allowing the fitting to be set 700-900mm above a table surface or lowered closer to the ceiling in rooms with lower clearances. The dual suspension system uses four fine steel cables and a central threaded rod, concealing the electrical cable inside the rod.

The coral pattern is die-cut from sheet metal and formed into a cylindrical cage, giving the fitting a 175mm overall height when the canopy and glass are included. The classic pewter finish sits between polished chrome and brushed nickel in tone, with a soft satin sheen that reduces glare under daylight. The frosted glass diffuser softens the light from the three bulbs, preventing direct glare when the pendant is viewed from below while still allowing enough uplight to illuminate the metalwork pattern from inside.

The fitting accepts three standard E27 bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs depending on the room and desired light temperature. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or lounge lighting.
