Description

The Share is an 85mm recessed downlight with a 25° swivel mechanism housed in a white powder-coated aluminium bezel. A single GU10 bulb (sold separately) sits behind the tilting inner ring, allowing the light beam to be angled towards a wall, worktop or feature without moving the fitting itself. The white finish sits flush with the ceiling once installed, showing only a 37mm-deep visible rim.

Designed for kitchens, living rooms, hallways and commercial interiors where directional accent or task lighting is needed, the Share fits a standard recessed downlight aperture of 68-76mm diameter and requires a ceiling void depth of at least 100mm above the plasterboard. The swivel joint allows the beam to be adjusted after installation, so positioning can be fine-tuned once furniture is in place or artwork is hung. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor spaces only.

The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at approximately 150g while providing stable heat dissipation for LED and halogen GU10 bulbs up to 15W. The all-white finish hides the fitting against white and light-toned ceilings, making it a practical choice where the ceiling plane should remain visually uninterrupted. Spring clips on the rear of the housing secure the fitting into the ceiling aperture without visible screws or fixings from below.

What bulb does it take?

The Share takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 15W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 in warm white (2700K-3000K) for general lighting or cool white (4000K) for task lighting in kitchens.

Can the light direction be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The inner ring tilts up to 25° in any direction once the fitting is installed, allowing you to redirect the beam towards a wall, worktop or feature without re-cutting the ceiling aperture.

What ceiling void depth is needed?

A minimum ceiling void depth of 100mm above the plasterboard is required to accommodate the fitting body and lamp holder. The visible bezel sits 37mm proud of the ceiling surface once installed.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Share is designed for dry indoor spaces only. Bathrooms require a minimum of IP44 or IP65 depending on the zone.
