The spotlight mounts on an adjustable bracket that allows the head to tilt both horizontally and vertically, directing the beam onto doorways, building corners, or architectural features. An IP65 rating seals the fitting against dust and water jets from any direction.

Designed for residential and light commercial outdoor installations, the Scope suits entrance lighting, patio accent lighting, and highlighting specific exterior zones where directed light is needed rather than broad wash. The adjustable bracket allows the GU10 bulb to be angled post-installation without needing to reposition the wall mounting plate, making it practical for seasonal light direction changes or when furniture is moved. The fitting accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to 50W (sold separately), giving control over beam angle, colour temperature and lumen output depending on the bulb chosen.

The aluminium alloy body is powder-coated in a matt black finish that minimises reflections and weathers well in coastal and urban environments where corrosion resistance matters. What does the IP65 rating mean?

IP65 certifies the fitting is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. The Scope can be installed in fully exposed exterior positions including under eaves, on coastal walls, or in areas subject to rain and hosing down.

What GU10 bulb should I use?

The fitting accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to 50W. Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 in warm white (2700K-3000K) for residential accent lighting, or a narrow-beam GU10 (25-degree beam angle) for highlighting specific architectural features. Bulbs are sold separately.

Can the light direction be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The head tilts on the bracket both horizontally and vertically, allowing the beam to be redirected without removing the fitting from the wall. The bracket holds position once set.

Is this suitable for coastal locations?

The powder-coated aluminium alloy construction resists corrosion in coastal environments. For very high salt exposure (within 100m of breaking waves), periodic rinsing with fresh water extends the finish lifespan.
