Description

The Satin Large is a 300mm diameter table lamp built on a polished chrome column base with a white fabric drum shade stretched over a PVC frame. Two E14 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the shade, with a sandblasted glass diffuser at the base of the shade distributing light evenly downwards and outwards through the fabric.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and office desks where soft ambient light is needed without harsh glare, the lamp stands approximately 450mm tall from base to top of shade. The sandblasted diffuser prevents direct view of the bulb filaments while allowing light to pass through both the bottom aperture and the white fabric sides, creating a balanced wash across nearby surfaces. The chrome base is weighted to prevent tipping on surfaces with minimal overhang.

The white fabric shade softens the light output and pairs neutrally with both warm and cool interior schemes. The polished chrome column and circular base plate give the lamp a mid-century residential aesthetic that works in traditional, transitional and contemporary bedrooms and living rooms. The dual E14 fittings allow for combined light output between 12-16W if using LED bulbs, or higher wattages with halogen or incandescent bulbs up to the rated maximum.
