Description

This wall light adds natural texture to a room, with a woven seagrass half-cylinder shade set against matt black painted metalwork. The seagrass shade emits a soft glow and highlights the natural weave, while the black fixtures keep the look current and grounded. It measures 260mm tall and 230mm wide, projecting 120mm from the wall, so it sits fairly flush as a half-shade against the surface. It takes a single E27 bulb rated up to 10W and is dimmable, so you can lower it to a warm, gentle level that shows off the woven shade in the evening.

The Salcombe suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and coastal or nature-inspired schemes where you want warmth and texture rather than a hard, shiny finish. The natural seagrass works beautifully alongside timber, linen, rattan and earthy paint colours, and the half-cylinder shape casts a soft glow up and down the wall. Rated IP20, it is made for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms, and as a Class 2 fitting it is double insulated, so it does not need an earth connection.
