Description

The Salcombe is a table lamp supplied as a twin pack, pairing matt black metalwork with a natural woven seagrass drum shade. Each lamp stands 410mm tall with a 250mm shade and weighs 1.5kg, and the seagrass lets the light filter through with a soft, textured glow. Coming as a matching pair, it is ready to place on either side of a bed or sofa. Each takes one E27 bulb up to 10W and suits E27 LED lamps, with an inline on/off switch on a 1.5 metre black fabric flex.

The natural seagrass and matt black combination adds texture and warmth, so it suits coastal, country and relaxed modern rooms that lean on natural materials. As a pair it balances a room easily, on two bedsides, a pair of side tables or either end of a console, and it works well alongside wood, linen and rattan. The drum shade gives an even, downward light that is good for ambient use and gentle bedside reading.

The metalwork is painted matt black over a sturdy frame, and each drum shade is woven from natural seagrass, so its texture and tone vary a little from piece to piece. Fit E27 LED lamps to keep the pair cool and economical, and use the inline switch on each black flex for everyday on and off.
