Description

The Salcombe is a two light linear pendant that shows off natural texture, pairing matt black metalwork with a woven natural seagrass oval shade. The elongated shade holds two lamps in a row and filters the light into a soft, warm glow, revealing the grain of the seagrass when lit. The drop adjusts up to 1200mm on a 940mm black cable, and its oval linear shape follows the line of a table or island below.

It suits a dining table, kitchen island or breakfast bar in a coastal, boho or natural scheme, sitting easily beside rattan, linen and pale wood. The two lamps spread light along the length of the surface, and the seagrass shade adds warmth and handmade character without weight. The matt black cable and fittings ground it against light walls, giving a relaxed, tactile look over a table, and at 1.4kg it hangs comfortably from a standard ceiling fixing.

The metalwork is matt black painted and the shade is woven natural seagrass, so slight variation in the weave is part of the character. It takes two E27 bulbs up to 10W each in LED, is double insulated to Class 2, and is dimmable with a compatible dimmer. A warm lamp brings out the texture of the oval shade.
