Description

Made from polypropylene and POM, our Ribbon Pendant Lampshade Mini takes a soft, workable plastic and lets it fall into loose twisting ribbons of white. The look is anything but smooth or globe shaped; each length curls and overlaps its neighbours, so the surface catches the light in shifting folds rather than a single flat plane. The Mini is the smaller of the two sizes on offer, and its scale suits spots where a fuller shade would feel too heavy. This is one specification only, in white, with no finish or size choice to weigh up once you have settled on the Mini.

The measurements keep things easy to picture. The Mini stands 19cm tall with a diameter of 33cm, and it weighs just 0.62kg, so it hangs without pulling hard on a flex or a fitting. Being a pendant, floor and table lampshade, it gives you room to move it about as your rooms change; we like it low over a dining table, but it also works on a slim floor stem or dropped from a hook in a corner. It fits an E27 lamp holder and takes a max 15W LED bulb, which is not included, so you can pick a warm 2700K glow or something cooler to match the rest of your lighting.

Assembly takes around 15 minutes, and we provide a short assembly video to walk you through folding the ribbons into place. Because the shade is a lightweight plastic rather than a rigid frame, it packs flat and springs back into shape as you build it, which keeps the whole job simple.
