Description

The Ray is a 180mm single pendant light with a clear striped acrylic shade suspended from a matt black powder-coated metal ceiling rose. An integrated 5W LED inside the shade emits warm 3000K light through the textured acrylic and a satin polycarbonate diffuser, softening the output and reducing glare while the vertical striping adds visual detail when the light is both on and off.

Designed for dining areas, kitchen islands and hallways with ceiling heights above 2.4m, the pendant drops 280mm from the ceiling rose with a further 1550mm of transparent PVC cable available for adjustment during installation. The 180mm shade diameter suits single pendants over smaller dining tables or as one of a cluster over a kitchen island. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations.

The matt black finish on the ceiling rose and stem provides a neutral anchor for the clear acrylic shade, working across industrial, minimalist and contemporary interiors. The striped acrylic diffuses the LED output into a softer wash rather than a focused beam, making the Ray more suited to ambient lighting than task lighting. At 5W the output is moderate rather than high — the fixture is designed as accent or supplementary lighting rather than the sole light source in a room.
