Description

The Rado is an 18W LED magnetic track spotlight with DALI dimming control and adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 6000K daylight white. The cylindrical white aluminium housing clips onto Maytoni Exility magnetic track systems via an integrated magnetic mount, and the spotlight head rotates 355° horizontally with tilt adjustment for directing light onto retail displays, artwork, architectural features or general room illumination.

Designed for retail, gallery, hospitality and residential installation, the Rado runs on DC 48V track power and requires a compatible Exility track with built-in DALI control infrastructure. The DALI protocol allows brightness and colour temperature to be adjusted via wall-mounted DALI control panels, building management systems or compatible smart home automation platforms. The adjustable CCT feature allows a single fitting to serve different functions throughout the day — warm 2700K light for evening ambience, neutral 4000K for daytime working light, or cool 6000K for product display and task lighting.

The white powder-coated aluminium housing provides a neutral backdrop that blends into white and light-coloured ceilings while maintaining clean sightlines in modern and minimalist interiors. The 107mm height and 193mm length give the spotlight sufficient projection to direct light at steep angles without the head appearing undersized relative to typical 3-4m ceiling heights. The magnetic mounting system allows the spotlight to be repositioned along the track without tools, making it suitable for spaces where lighting layout needs to adapt to changing display or furniture arrangements.

The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments. The integrated LED is non-replaceable, with a typical lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours depending on operating conditions. Maytoni provides a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and LED performance degradation beyond normal parameters.

What track system does this spotlight fit?

The Rado fits Maytoni Exility magnetic track systems only. It will not fit standard single-circuit, 3-circuit or universal track rails — the spotlight requires the DC 48V power and DALI control infrastructure provided by Exility track.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

Colour temperature is controlled via DALI protocol, which requires a compatible DALI control panel, building management system or smart home controller connected to the Exility track. The spotlight does not have manual controls on the fitting itself.

Can the spotlight be repositioned after installation?

Yes. The magnetic mount allows the spotlight to slide along the track and be repositioned without tools. Ensure the track power is isolated before moving the fitting.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 18W LED is integrated and non-replaceable. The LED is rated for 25,000-30,000 hours of operation, which at typical usage levels corresponds to 10-15 years before performance degradation becomes noticeable.
