Description

The Maytoni Rado is an 18W LED magnetic track spotlight with adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white, controlled via mobile app or voice command. The spotlight clips onto a compatible magnetic track system using integrated magnets on the mounting plate, allowing tool-free repositioning along the track once the system is installed. The 102mm diameter black aluminium housing rotates 355° on its mount, directing light where needed across a wide beam angle.

Designed for residential and commercial track lighting installations where flexibility in both colour temperature and positioning is needed, the Rado suits galleries, retail spaces, kitchens and living rooms where lighting requirements change throughout the day or between uses. The dimmable LED allows output to be adjusted from full 18W brightness down to low ambient levels, while the CCT function shifts from warm 2700K for evening relaxation to cool 6000K for task-focused work. The matte white diffuser softens the output and eliminates visible LED hotspots.

The black powder-coated aluminium body measures 107mm in height from the track mounting plate to the base of the spotlight head, with a 38mm projection from the track bar itself. The spotlight operates on DC 48V supplied by the magnetic track system's power rail, so compatibility with the specific track manufacturer's system must be confirmed before purchase. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry interior locations. Smart home integration supports voice control through compatible platforms and scheduling via the manufacturer's app.

What track system does this spotlight work with?

The Rado uses magnetic mounting and operates on DC 48V, which means it requires a compatible magnetic track system from Maytoni or another manufacturer using the same 48V magnetic standard. Standard single-circuit track systems (240V mains) are not compatible. Confirm track compatibility before ordering.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The CCT adjustment is controlled via the manufacturer's mobile app or voice commands through compatible smart home platforms. The colour temperature shifts continuously between 2700K and 6000K, allowing fine control rather than fixed presets.

Is the spotlight dimmable on a standard wall dimmer?

No. The dimming function is controlled through the app or voice command, not through a wall-mounted dimmer switch. The spotlight operates on DC 48V supplied by the track system, so traditional mains dimmers cannot be used.

Can the spotlight be repositioned after installation?

Yes. Once the magnetic track is installed and powered, the spotlight clips onto the track magnetically and can be slid along the track or removed and repositioned without tools. The 355° rotation allows the light direction to be adjusted independently of the track position.
