Description

The Rado is an 18W LED magnetic track spotlight designed for Maytoni's Exility track system, with DALI dimming control and adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white. The spotlight head rotates 355° on its axis and tilts to direct light where needed, mounted on a magnetic adapter that clips directly into the track without tools or fixed wiring.

Designed for retail interiors, galleries, offices and residential spaces where lighting needs change over time, the Rado allows individual spotlights to be repositioned along the track and removed entirely without cutting power. The DALI protocol enables each spotlight to be addressed individually on a DALI lighting control network, allowing automated dimming schedules, scene recall and integration with building management systems. The adjustable CCT function shifts the light output between warm white for evening ambiance and cool white for task lighting or product display, controlled via the DALI network rather than requiring separate warm and cool LED arrays.

The 102mm diameter head is constructed from die-cast aluminium with a matt black powder-coat finish that resists fingerprints and integrates cleanly into black track installations. The spotlight runs on DC 48V supplied by the Exility track system's power rail, drawing 18W at full output. The IP20 rating limits installation to dry interior locations. The integrated LED light source is non-replaceable but carries a 5-year warranty covering both the LED module and the DALI driver electronics housed in the track adapter.

What track system does this fit?

This spotlight is designed specifically for Maytoni's Exility magnetic track system. It will not fit standard three-circuit track lighting or other manufacturer's magnetic track systems. The magnetic adapter clips into the Exility track and draws DC 48V power from the track's internal rail.

How is the colour temperature changed?

The CCT adjustment is controlled via the DALI network, not a physical switch on the spotlight. You need a DALI lighting controller or compatible smart home system to send commands that shift the LED output between 2700K and 6000K. The spotlight cannot be manually adjusted without a DALI control interface.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED module is integrated into the spotlight head and is not user-replaceable. The LED and driver are covered by a 5-year warranty. At end of life the entire spotlight unit would be replaced rather than serviced.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the spotlight is designed for dry interior spaces only and is not protected against moisture or dust ingress. It is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies, or any location exposed to condensation or water spray.
