Description

The Radiatrix is a single-head track spotlight for 3-phase track systems, housed in a 60mm diameter brass cylinder with a black track adapter. The spotlight takes a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) and the head rotates and tilts on a fixed joint, allowing the beam to be directed across walls, displays or workspaces after installation.

Designed for retail lighting, art gallery installations, and residential track systems where directed accent light is needed, the Radiatrix clips onto standard 3-phase track rails and draws power from any of the three circuits. This allows multiple spotlights on the same rail to be controlled independently, making it suitable for environments where different zones need different lighting schedules or dimming levels.

The brass finish on the cylindrical head contrasts with the black plastic track adapter, giving a warm metallic accent suitable for both contemporary and industrial-style interiors. The 80mm projection from the track rail keeps the spotlight compact enough for ceiling tracks in rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor environments.

Frequently Asked

What is a 3-phase track system?

A 3-phase track system carries three separate electrical circuits within the same rail. Each spotlight on the track can be connected to circuit 1, 2 or 3, allowing groups of lights to be switched or dimmed independently. This is useful in retail and gallery settings where different display zones need separate control.

Is the spotlight head adjustable after installation?

Yes. The cylindrical head rotates and tilts on the track adapter joint, so the beam direction can be adjusted once the spotlight is clipped onto the track rail. This allows repositioning without removing the fitting from the track.

What GU10 bulb should I use?

GU10 LED bulbs between 3W and 7W are typical for accent lighting in retail or gallery installations. Choose 3000K for warm white, 4000K for neutral white. The spotlight is dimmable, so pair with a dimmable GU10 bulb and compatible dimmer module on the track circuit.

Can this be used in bathrooms or kitchens?

The IP20 rating means the spotlight is only suitable for dry indoor environments. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens with steam exposure, or any damp location. For those applications an IP44 or IP65 rated track spotlight is required.
