Description

The Radiara-2 is a 103mm recessed LED downlight with an integrated 10W LED module casting 4000K neutral white light through a 58mm aperture. The die-cast aluminium housing is finished in matt white and mounts flush to plasterboard or timber ceilings via a spring-clip retention system, leaving only the outer ring and aperture visible below the ceiling line.

Designed for general lighting in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and commercial spaces where neutral white task light is needed, the Radiara-2 carries an IP44 rating on the front assembly, providing moisture protection suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2 when ceiling voids are ventilated. The COB LED module delivers even light distribution without visible diodes or hotspots. The 10W power draw makes it suitable for high-density layouts without overloading domestic lighting circuits.

The spring-clip mounting fits ceiling void depths of 60mm or greater and holds the downlight securely in place once the ceiling cutout is made. The white finish on the visible ring recedes into white or off-white ceilings, making the fitting less visually intrusive than chrome or black alternatives. The non-dimmable LED is factory-integrated and rated for 25,000 hours typical lifespan under standard residential duty cycles.

Is this downlight dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver is non-dimmable. If dimming is required, select a different model from the Radiara range or contact us to recommend a dimmable alternative.

What ceiling void depth is needed?

A minimum 60mm void depth is required to accommodate the LED module and driver assembly behind the ceiling. The spring-clip retention system requires clearance around the cutout to secure the downlight in place.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

Yes. The IP44 front rating provides splash protection suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2 when the ceiling void is adequately ventilated. It is not rated for direct shower spray or zone 0 installation.

What colour temperature is 4000K?

4000K is neutral white, sitting between the warmer 2700K-3000K range used in living rooms and the cooler 5000K-6500K daylight range used in commercial settings. It provides clear task light without the yellow cast of warm white or the clinical feel of cool white.
