The Radiara-1 is a 144mm diameter recessed LED downlight with an integrated 15W COB (Chip on Board) LED module delivering 4000K neutral white light. The fitting comprises a white die-cast aluminium bezel that sits flush with the ceiling plane, surrounding a faceted reflector cone that directs light downward in a concentrated beam. The 71mm cut-out diameter makes it compatible with standard plasterboard ceiling installations using spring-clip retention.

Designed for bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms and commercial spaces requiring moisture-resistant ceiling lighting, the Radiara-1 carries IP44 front protection against water splashes from any direction. The neutral 4000K colour temperature provides task-focused illumination suited to work surfaces, vanity areas and office desks where clarity matters more than ambient warmth. The COB LED technology concentrates multiple LED chips onto a single module, delivering higher luminous output per watt than older discrete LED arrays.

The white powder-coated aluminium construction resists corrosion in damp environments and dissipates heat efficiently to maintain LED lifespan. At 144mm diameter the bezel presents a clean circular outline on the ceiling without requiring oversized cut-outs or visible fixings once installed. Yes. The IP44 front protection rating makes the Radiara-1 suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, where it may be exposed to water splashes. It is not rated for use directly above a shower or bath (zone 1) without additional enclosure.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The Radiara-1 uses an integrated LED module and driver as a single sealed unit. The LED is rated for long life (typically 25,000-30,000 hours) and is not designed to be replaced separately. When the LED reaches end of life, the entire fitting is replaced.

What cut-out size is needed?

The Radiara-1 requires a 71mm diameter ceiling cut-out. The 144mm bezel then covers the aperture and sits flush with the ceiling surface, retained by spring clips from behind.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated driver does not support dimming. The fitting operates at full 15W output when switched on.
