Description

The Radiara-1 is a 183mm diameter recessed LED downlight with an integrated 30W light source delivering 3000K warm white light through a COB (Chip on Board) LED array. The fitting sits flush within a ceiling cutout, with a white-finished die-cast aluminium trim ring concealing the edge of the aperture and housing the fixed internal reflector behind a textured lens.

Designed for commercial, hospitality and residential spaces needing focused high-output downlighting, the Radiara-1 suits reception areas, corridor lighting, kitchens, retail displays and bathroom zones where the IP44 front protection allows safe installation in damp conditions. The fixed beam angle delivers concentrated light downwards without adjustment, making it suitable for general room illumination rather than accent or directional applications.

The die-cast aluminium construction provides thermal management for the LED array, dissipating heat through the body to maintain consistent output over the rated lifespan. The matt white finish on the visible trim ring keeps the fitting recessive in white ceilings while the internal reflector geometry controls beam spread. Can this be used in bathroom zones?

Yes. The IP44 front protection rating allows the Radiara-1 to be installed in bathroom zones 2 and 3 (outside the shower enclosure) where there is exposure to moisture and occasional water splashes. It is not rated for direct water jets (zones 0 or 1).

What ceiling cutout size is needed?

The visible trim diameter is 183mm. The installation datasheet will specify the exact cutout diameter and minimum ceiling void depth required above the fitting for safe installation and thermal clearance. Contact us if you need installation dimensions confirmed before ordering.

Is the light output adjustable?

No. The Radiara-1 is non-dimmable and operates at full 30W output when the circuit is live. The fixed beam angle and reflector geometry are set during manufacture and cannot be adjusted on-site.

What colour temperature does 3000K provide?

3000K is a warm white light, similar in tone to a traditional halogen or incandescent bulb. It produces a slightly yellow-toned light that suits residential interiors, hospitality spaces and areas where a warmer atmosphere is preferred over the cooler blue-white of 4000K or 5000K.
