Description

The Quasar is a 115mm diameter outdoor bollard light built from powder-coated die-cast aluminium with a white finish and a transparent sandblasted tempered glass diffuser. The bollard stands approximately 205mm from the mounting surface and houses a single GU10 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The sandblasted glass diffuses the light evenly across the surface, reducing glare while creating a soft wash along pathways or around garden features.

Designed for pathways, patio perimeters, driveways and garden borders, the Quasar carries an IP43 rating that protects against solid objects larger than 1mm and light water spray. This makes it suitable for most UK outdoor installations where the fitting is mounted clear of standing water. The white finish provides a neutral backdrop that pairs with both contemporary render and traditional brick exteriors. The bollard works well spaced at 2-3m intervals along a path or driveway to maintain even light coverage.

The die-cast aluminium construction resists corrosion better than pressed steel alternatives and the powder-coated finish bonds to the metal surface for long-term durability. The bollard is dimmable when paired with a compatible GU10 LED bulb and dimmer switch, allowing light levels to be adjusted for different times of evening or different outdoor uses.
