Description

The QTX QX15PA-plus is a complete portable PA system built into a QX-series cabinet. It runs from the mains or its internal rechargeable battery, so you can use it wherever you need sound without a nearby power point. The built-in amplifier delivers 50 + 50Wrms to a main driver and a 25mm titanium compression horn, giving you enough volume for events, presentations and outdoor gatherings.

Two UHF handheld wireless microphones are included, with the receiver built into the rear panel. Alongside these you get two further mic inputs, one of which doubles as a guitar input, plus an auxiliary line input and RCA line-in sockets. Bluetooth 4.2 lets you stream from a phone or tablet, and the integral USB/SD/FM media player gives you a self-contained audio source. Front panel controls cover Volume, Bass, Treble, Echo, Mic volume, UHF volume, Contour and VCV.

Moving the unit around is straightforward. A moulded handle and 35mm pole mount are built into the cabinet, and a retractable trolley handle with rear wheels means you can pull it along like a case (a suitcase, or valise). Dispersion is rated at 90° x 60°, and battery life runs up to 8 hours between charges. A slip cover is included to keep the cabinet protected in transit and storage.

How long does the battery last?

The internal rechargeable battery gives up to 8 hours of use per charge. You can also run the unit from the mains or an external 12Vdc supply.

How many microphones are included?

Two UHF handheld wireless microphones come with the system, and the receiver is built into the rear panel. There are also two wired mic inputs for extra microphones.

Can I stream music wirelessly?

Yes. The QX15PA-plus has a Bluetooth 4.2 receiver, so you can stream audio from a phone, tablet or laptop. There is also a built-in USB/SD/FM media player.

Is it easy to move around?
