Description

The QTX QR12PA is a compact portable PA unit built around the QR speaker cabinet. It houses a built-in amplifier that runs from the mains or an internal rechargeable battery, driving a main speaker and a compression-driven horn. Battery life reaches up to 8 hours, so you can use it away from a power source at events, presentations and outdoor gatherings. A retractable trolley handle and rear wheels make it straightforward to move between rooms or venues.

Two handheld UHF wireless microphones (mics) are included, with the receiver built into the mixer and amplifier section at the rear. Alongside these you get two wired mic inputs on 6.3mm jack, a line input on L+R RCA and an auxiliary input on 3.5mm stereo jack. The integral media player handles USB, SD and FM sources and includes a record function with remote. A Bluetooth receiver is also built in for wireless audio from a phone or tablet, and TWS pairing links two QRPA units as a Bluetooth stereo pair.

Front-panel controls cover MIC.1/guitar, MIC.2, Echo, Bass, Treble, Master Volume and UHF mic volume, plus a switchable VCV 'mic override' function that lowers the music when you speak. An integral 35mm pole mount lets you raise the unit on a stand. If you need hands-free use, optional UHF neckband mics are available (178.895UK and 178.896UK). The echo effect adds depth to vocals for speech or singing, making the QR12PA a practical all-in-one option for smaller PA jobs.
