Description

This purple cornflower stem brings the meadow indoors without any of the upkeep. The blooms carry the frilled, fringed petals that make real cornflowers so recognisable, with fine ray-like tips fanning out from a tightly gathered centre. The purple tone runs deep at the heart and softens slightly towards the outer edges, giving the flower heads a natural sense of depth rather than a flat, printed look. Slim green leaves run along the length of the stem, and the whole thing has the wispy, slightly wild character of cornflowers picked from a summer field.

Made from plastic and standing 77cm tall with a 20x20cm spread, this artificial flower stem holds its shape well and works in taller vessels where you want a bit of height. Group three or five stems together in a jug for a relaxed, gathered feel, or slot a single stem into a mixed arrangement alongside other faux blooms and dried grasses.
