Description

The Pure is a 400mm cylindrical LED pendant designed to attach magnetically to compatible track systems, finished in satin gold with an extruded aluminium body. The pendant houses an integrated 12W LED emitting 3000K warm white light through the open base, creating a downlight column suitable for task lighting over kitchen islands, dining tables and retail counters.

The magnetic attachment system allows the pendant to be repositioned along the track rail without tools or rewiring, making it practical for spaces where lighting needs shift over time — exhibition areas, adjustable workspaces, or kitchens where preparation and dining zones overlap. The 1130mm cable drop is fixed on installation and determines the height at which the pendant hangs from the track. The on-off control built into the pendant housing allows each light to be switched independently of others on the same track circuit.

The satin gold finish on the aluminium provides a brushed metallic surface that catches ambient light without high-gloss reflections. The 40mm diameter keeps the pendant slender enough to run multiple units in a row without visual crowding, while the 190mm canopy provides the magnetic mounting interface to the track. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor environments only — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use.

Each Pure pendant is supplied with the LED module pre-installed and non-replaceable, so the 12W output and 3000K colour temperature are fixed characteristics of the fitting. The light casts a focused downward beam rather than ambient spread, making it most effective when paired with other lighting sources to balance the room.

What track system does this pendant fit?

The Pure uses Ideal Lux's Ego magnetic track profile. The pendant will not attach to standard three-circuit track or other manufacturers' magnetic systems unless they share the same magnetic rail specification. Contact us to confirm compatibility with your existing track.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 12W LED module is integrated into the pendant body and cannot be replaced. The LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of use, which equates to around 10 years at 8 hours daily operation.

Can the pendant be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED does not support dimming. The on-off switch built into the pendant housing provides only full-power or off operation.

How far does the pendant hang below the track?

The total drop from the track rail to the base of the pendant is 1130mm cable plus the 400mm pendant body, giving approximately 1530mm overall. The cable length is fixed and cannot be shortened on site.
