Description

The Pure is a 400mm cylindrical LED pendant built from extruded aluminium with a white powder-coated finish, designed for magnetic track systems. The pendant houses an integrated 12W LED running at 3000K warm white, and the entire unit attaches magnetically to compatible track rails, allowing the light to be repositioned along the track without rewiring.

Designed for kitchens, home offices and commercial spaces where task or accent lighting needs to adapt over time, the Pure provides direct downlight through a 40mm diameter aperture at the base of the cylinder. The 1130mm cable drop can be adjusted during installation to suit ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The magnetic mounting system means the pendant can be slid along the track or removed entirely if the room layout changes, making it well-suited to rental properties or workspaces that reconfigure regularly.

The white aluminium finish minimises visual weight and pairs with Scandinavian, minimalist and contemporary interiors. The cylindrical profile measures 190mm in length from canopy to pendant body, with a 40mm projection from the track. Dimmable functionality allows the 12W output to be reduced for ambient use or brought to full brightness for task lighting over worktops, desks or counters. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments.

What magnetic track system does the Pure work with?

The Pure is part of Ideal Lux's Ego profile magnetic track system. It requires an Ego track rail (sold separately) with the matching magnetic connection profile. The pendant will not fit standard electrical track systems or non-magnetic rails.

Is the Pure dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 12W LED is dimmable, but requires a compatible LED dimmer switch installed on the track's power supply. Trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmers rated for low-wattage LED loads work best. Check dimmer compatibility before installing.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Pure is suitable only for dry indoor environments. It cannot be used in bathrooms, outdoor covered areas, or any location where moisture is present.

How is the cable length adjusted?

The 1130mm cable can be shortened during installation by looping the excess cable into the magnetic canopy before clipping it onto the track. The pendant cannot be lengthened beyond the 1130mm supplied cable.
