Description

The Pure is a 400mm cylindrical LED track pendant in matt black extruded aluminium, designed for magnetic attachment to Ideal Lux Ego profile track systems. The fitting houses an integrated 12W LED light source delivering neutral 4000K light output through a 40mm diameter downlight aperture at the base of the cylinder. The magnetic mount allows the pendant to be positioned anywhere along a compatible track and repositioned without tools.

Designed for task and accent lighting over kitchen islands, worktops, retail displays and office desks, the Pure suits spaces where directed downlight is needed and where track layout may need adjusting over time. The 1130mm suspension cable is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be set between 300-1000mm below the track depending on ceiling height and task requirements. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments.

The matt black extruded aluminium body weighs approximately 0.5kg, light enough that multiple pendants can be grouped on a single track run without overloading the magnetic connection. The 190mm visible height of the cylinder provides sufficient visual mass to register as a feature when viewed from below, without dominating smaller rooms. The neutral 4000K colour temperature sits between warm domestic lighting (2700-3000K) and cool commercial white (5000K+), making it adaptable to both residential and light commercial interiors.

The Pure is part of Ideal Lux's Ego magnetic track system family, which shares a common track profile across pendants, spotlights and linear fittings. Additional Pure pendants or other Ego-compatible fittings can be added to the same track without re-wiring, provided the track's power supply capacity is not exceeded.

What track system does the Pure attach to?

The Pure uses magnetic attachment for Ideal Lux Ego profile track systems. It will not fit standard 3-circuit track or other manufacturers' magnetic track profiles. The Ego track and power supplies are sold separately.

Can the pendant be dimmed?

No. The integrated 12W LED is non-dimmable. Attempting to use a dimmer with this fitting may cause flickering or damage to the LED driver.

What is the light output and beam angle?

The 12W LED at 4000K typically delivers around 900-1000 lumens with a focused downlight beam angle of approximately 35-40 degrees, making it suitable for task lighting rather than general ambient light.

Can multiple Pure pendants be used on one track?

Yes, provided the total wattage of all fittings does not exceed the track's power supply capacity. Each Pure pendant draws 12W, so a 100W power supply can support up to eight Pure pendants on a single track run.
