The Pro Shade is a 45cm long thin LED pendant light built around a 3cm diameter white aluminium cylinder housing an integrated 6W LED. The light emits 4000K neutral white light through an acrylic diffuser that runs the length of the pendant, creating a linear glow rather than a point source. The cable drop is adjustable up to 345cm, allowing the pendant to be set at various heights depending on ceiling clearance and application.

Designed for installation above kitchen worktops, dining tables, breakfast bars and office desks where task lighting is needed without visual clutter, the Pro Shade provides directed downlight across a 45cm linear zone. The slender 3cm profile means the fitting itself occupies minimal visual space, making it suitable for lower ceilings or installations where multiple pendants are grouped in a row. The white finish reflects light back into the room rather than absorbing it, contributing to overall ambient brightness alongside the directed LED output.

The aluminium construction keeps the weight low despite the 45cm length, and the IP20 rating confirms the fitting is designed for interior dry locations only. The integrated LED is not dimmable. The 6W output and 4000K colour temperature are fixed. If dimming is required, consider other models in the Maytoni range with compatible drivers.

Can multiple Pro Shade pendants be installed in a row?

Yes. The slender 3cm diameter and 45cm length make the Pro Shade well-suited to linear arrangements above kitchen islands or dining tables. Space pendants 50-70cm apart for even light distribution along the run.

What is the maximum cable drop?

The cable is adjustable up to 345cm maximum drop. This can be shortened during installation to suit ceiling height, typically set at 60-80cm above a worktop or 70-90cm above a dining table.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating means the Pro Shade is suitable for interior dry locations only. It is not rated for use in bathrooms or other damp environments where moisture or steam is present.
