Description

The Prismatic electrified track end cap terminates track lighting runs whilst providing a pendant drop feed point. A 2150mm pendant cable exits from the polycarbonate body, allowing a single pendant light to be suspended from the end of a track system. The end cap itself measures 100mm long by 53mm projection by 80mm high, and is finished in black to match black track sections.

Designed for track lighting installations where the run ends near a dining table, counter or bar position that benefits from a pendant drop, the electrified end cap removes the need for a separate ceiling rose or additional wiring. The polycarbonate construction resists impact and retains dimensional stability under the heat generated by track systems. The pendant cable conceals the mains feed and allows the suspended fitting to hang anywhere from ceiling height down to the full 2150mm drop.

Installation requires the track to be live and correctly earthed — the end cap draws power from the track bus bars and feeds it through to the pendant cable termination. The 100mm body length sits flush with the track profile, and the black finish maintains visual continuity across the entire track run. Suitable for retail, hospitality and residential installations where track lighting is combined with individual pendant accents.

The Prismatic end cap is designed for Ideal Lux Prismatic track systems. Compatibility with other track brands depends on the bus bar configuration and profile dimensions — contact us before pairing with non-Ideal Lux track.

Can the pendant cable length be shortened?

The 2150mm cable can be shortened during installation by an electrician, allowing the pendant to be set at any drop between ceiling height and full extension. The cable cannot be lengthened beyond 2150mm.

Does the end cap itself contain a dimmer?

No. The end cap passes track power through to the pendant cable without modification. Dimming must be controlled at the track power source or via a separate in-line dimmer on the pendant cable, assuming the pendant fitting uses dimmable bulbs.

What pendant fittings can be used with this?

Any pendant fitting designed to be hard-wired to a ceiling rose can be wired to the cable termination from this end cap. The pendant fitting must be rated for the voltage and load supported by the track system.
