Description

The Prios Round is a four-ring LED pendant light with overlapping white metal hoops, each housing integrated LED strips totalling 82W output at 3000K. The rings are arranged in a linked circular formation, with two larger outer hoops (approximately 685mm diameter) and two smaller inner hoops creating an interlocking sculptural form. The white powder-coated metal frames contain opal plastic diffusers that distribute light evenly across all four rings.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas, the Prios Round works in spaces with 2.6m-3.0m ceiling heights. The 2000mm adjustable cables allow the pendant to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining surface or 1500mm above floor level for ambient ceiling lighting. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry interior rooms only. The integrated LED provides direct downlight rather than omnidirectional spread, making it suitable for task lighting over surfaces rather than general room illumination.

The white finish on the metal frames gives a clean, neutral appearance that pairs with both warm and cool interior schemes. The overlapping ring structure casts multiple shadows when lit, adding visual interest to plain ceilings. The combined weight and 685mm span mean the fitting is best suited to tables or islands 1600mm or wider, where the scale matches the furniture beneath. The integrated LED cannot be replaced, the entire fitting has a rated lifespan with a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux.

No. The integrated 82W LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light operates at full output only when connected to standard mains switching.

Can the LED be replaced when it fails?

No. The LED is integrated into the metal frame structure and cannot be removed or replaced. The fitting carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux covering LED failure within normal use.

What ceiling height does it need?

The 2000mm adjustable cables work best in rooms with 2.6m-3.0m ceiling heights. For dining tables, position the rings 700-900mm above the surface. For ambient ceiling lighting in a living area, position the fitting 1500mm above floor level.
