Description

This Elstead picture light pairs a cylindrical polished chrome body with an adjustable arm that rotates on a square backplate. The 190mm-wide tube houses a single E14 bulb (sold separately) and casts light forward onto artwork mounted directly beneath the fitting. The arm pivots at the wall mount, allowing the angle of the light to be adjusted so that frames from 300-400mm wide receive even illumination without glare or shadowing.

Designed for smaller artworks, photographs and prints, the light mounts 50-100mm above the top edge of the frame and projects 200mm from the wall when angled forward. This suits standard hanging heights in hallways, above sideboards, or in corridors where the ceiling height is 2.4m or above. The backplate is wired into a standard ceiling or wall connection and the arm conceals the cable run inside the chrome tube.

The polished chrome finish reflects ambient room light and pairs with modern, contemporary and minimalist interiors without introducing visual weight. At 135mm tall and 190mm wide, the fitting remains compact enough not to dominate the artwork it lights. The E14 socket accepts most small screw-base LED or halogen bulbs up to 40W, giving flexibility to choose the colour temperature and lumen output that suits the specific artwork and room lighting.
