Description

This Elstead picture light combines a 190mm cylindrical brushed brass shade with an adjustable arm and square backplate. The single E14 bulb fitting inside the shade directs light forward onto artwork, framed prints or mirrors, with the arm allowing the angle to be set on installation to avoid glare on glass. The 200mm projection from the wall positions the shade above or in front of smaller frames.

Designed for wall mounting above artwork in hallways, living rooms, bedrooms and gallery spaces, the light suits frames 300-500mm wide where focused illumination is needed to enhance detail and colour without washing out the image. The adjustable arm tilts to direct light onto the surface of the frame rather than into the viewer's eyes, and the small size prevents the fitting from overwhelming modest-scale prints or photographs.
