Description

The Phosra is a 30cm diameter spherical pendant light with an acid-etched blown glass diffuser, suspended from a white powder-coated metal ceiling rose on a transparent PVC cable. A single E27 bulb inside the glass globe (sold separately) casts diffused ambient light in all directions, with the acid-etched surface softening the output and hiding the bulb from direct view.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and bedroom positions where central ambient light is needed without harsh glare, the 30cm diameter suits rooms of 10-15m² and table lengths of 1.2-1.8m. The 2m cable is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to hang 600-800mm above a surface or lower in taller spaces. The glass diffuser is held in place by a screwless magnetic closure, allowing the globe to be removed for bulb changes without tools.

The white powder-coated finish on the ceiling rose and the transparent cable give the Phosra a clean, minimal profile that pairs comfortably with Scandinavian, modern and neutral-toned interiors. The acid-etched glass is consistent in tone across production runs, avoiding the colour drift sometimes seen in cheaper opal glass. The E27 fitting accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs and is rated dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable LED bulb.

What bulb does the Phosra take?

The pendant takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting. The fitting is rated dimmable when used with a compatible dimmable bulb and dimmer.

How is the glass diffuser removed?

The glass globe is held in place by a screwless magnetic closure. To access the bulb, the diffuser pulls away from the ceiling rose without needing tools, then clicks back into place magnetically once the bulb is changed.

What cable length adjustment is available?

The pendant ships with a 2m transparent PVC cable. During installation the cable can be shortened or the excess coiled within the ceiling rose, allowing the pendant to hang at the height that suits the room.

Is the Phosra suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the pendant is designed for dry indoor use only and is not rated for bathroom zones or outdoor installation.
