Description

The Orlis is a 330mm round LED wall light with an integrated 17W 3000K LED behind a satin opal polycarbonate diffuser, mounted on a white painted metal back plate. The diffuser spreads light evenly across the surface, creating ambient illumination without visible hot spots or glare, while the 3000K colour temperature casts a warm white tone suitable for residential and hospitality interiors.

Designed for hallways, corridors, bedrooms and living spaces where a low-profile fitting is needed, the Orlis mounts flush to the wall with a projection of approximately 80mm. The round profile suits modern, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors, and the white finish allows it to blend into painted walls or provide a clean contrast against darker tones. Installation requires connection to mains wiring via the metal back plate, which conceals the cable entry.

The polycarbonate diffuser is impact-resistant and lighter than glass equivalents, making the fitting easier to handle during installation. The IP20 rating limits the Orlis to dry indoor environments only — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use, or areas where moisture or dust exposure is expected. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but carries a 5-year warranty and an expected lifespan of 25,000+ hours under typical domestic use.

Can the Orlis be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting has no protection against moisture or dust ingress, so it is suitable only for dry indoor environments such as hallways, bedrooms and living rooms. For bathrooms or outdoor locations, a fitting with IP44 or higher is required.

Is the LED dimmable?

No. The integrated 17W LED does not support dimmer switches. Attempting to connect the Orlis to a dimmer circuit may cause flickering or damage to the LED driver.

Can the LED be replaced if it fails?

The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. However, the LED carries a 5-year warranty and an expected lifespan of 25,000+ hours, which equates to approximately 11 years of use at 6 hours per day.

What does 3000K mean?

3000K is the colour temperature of the light output, measured in Kelvin. It produces a warm white tone similar to halogen bulbs, warmer than daylight (5000K+) but cooler than traditional incandescent lamps (2700K).
