Description

The Ordo is an 8cm diameter crystal glass pendant light with a vertically ribbed cylindrical shade suspended from a polished chrome canopy on an adjustable cable. An integrated 8W LED inside the glass cylinder casts 3000K warm white light downwards, with the ribbed glass surface refracting light outwards to soften the beam spread and reduce glare from below.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, and task positions where focused downlight is needed, the Ordo fits rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.6m. The suspension adjusts from 733mm to 3650mm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 600-800mm above a worktop or 700-900mm above a dining table. The narrow 8cm profile suits single installation over a small table or clustered in rows of 2-3 over longer islands and bar counters. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry interior spaces.

The polished chrome frame creates high-contrast reflections against the clear ribbed glass, which draws visual reference from classical fluted columns scaled to pendant-light dimensions. The vertical ribbing breaks up the glass surface into multiple facets, each catching and redirecting the internal LED light to create a softer, more diffused output than a plain glass cylinder would produce. The chrome canopy measures approximately 50mm diameter and fits standard UK ceiling roses.
