Description

The Orb is a table lamp built around a hand-blown clear glass orb base set within a polished nickel metal frame, topped with a black fabric drum shade. A single E27 bulb fitting inside the glass base casts light both through the glass and up into the shade, which directs most of the light downward and outward as ambient glow rather than directed task light.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables behind sofas, and side tables in living rooms or home offices, the Orb suits spaces where a combination of decorative presence and soft ambient light is needed. The clear glass orb allows the light source to remain visible, so pairing the lamp with a warm-white filament LED or classic Edison-style bulb creates a warm focal point. The black shade focuses downward light onto the table surface and creates a defined pool of brightness around the base.

The polished nickel frame sits at the top and base of the glass orb, providing structural support and reflective accents that catch room light during the day. The black shade is 300mm in diameter and sits approximately 450mm above the table surface when the lamp is fully assembled.
