Description

The Opal is a single LED spotlight with a 7W 3000K integrated light source housed in a matt black die-cast aluminium head. The cylindrical spotlight head measures 70mm diameter by 87mm height and pivots on a ball joint fixed to a ceiling-mounted circular base, allowing the beam to be angled in any direction once installed. The transparent knurled acrylic lens at the front focuses the light into a directional beam rather than dispersing it as ambient fill.

Designed for accent and task lighting rather than general room illumination, the Opal suits installation in living rooms for highlighting artwork or architectural features, in kitchens for directing light onto worktops, in retail for product display lighting, and in galleries or home offices where controlled spot lighting is needed. The spotlight mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose and the ball joint locks in position once adjusted, so the beam angle stays where it's set without drift over time.

The 7W LED runs at 3000K warm white and is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry indoor environments but not bathrooms or outdoor use. The powder-coated aluminium construction gives the spotlight a low-sheen matt black finish that minimises reflections under daylight and pairs with industrial, contemporary and minimalist interiors.
