Not a heavy framed wall mirror, and not a round one either, our One More Look Oak Mirror is a tall rounded-rectangle of glass with no visible frame at all. A slim oak shelf runs across it, giving it a relaxed, unfussy character. We chose this shelf-and-mirror form because it suits so many rooms, from a bedroom corner to a hallway wall, and because it lets us keep the design light and open. The Nuance Mist shade brings a soft, muted tone that settles quietly into the space around it, and the small box that sits on the shelf beside the glass adds a little practicality where you need it.

The build is honest and solid. At 118cm tall and 78cm wide, with a 15cm depth and a weight of 11kg, this mirror has real presence without crowding a room. It is made from solid oak, MDF, glass, steel plated in brass, and artificial leather, a mix we picked to balance warmth with a clean finish. The slim shelf takes a maximum load of 10kg when the weight is spread evenly across the surface, so it happily holds a few daily bits alongside the box. We keep the oak in a natural matt finish, letting the grain show through rather than hiding it under gloss.

Assembly takes around 45 minutes, so you can have it standing and styled in an afternoon.
