Our Steel finish brings a cool, understated calm to a wall, catching the light softly without drawing too much attention to itself. We chose this tone because it sits happily against pale plaster, grey stone or darker painted walls alike, giving you a wall light that reads as quiet and considered rather than showy. The slim horizontal bar sits on a neat round wall plate, so it holds a clean line across a hallway, above a reading nook or beside a mirror. Where a warmer metal would announce itself, Steel lets the surroundings do the talking, and we think that makes it easy to live with over the years.

In the Mini size, this wall light measures 16.6 by 54 by 14.7cm, a compact horizontal form that fits narrow stretches of wall where a larger fitting would feel crowded. It is made from steel, aluminium, PP and PMMA, and it arrives as a surface mounted lamp, so there is no recessing or cutting into the wall. Assembly takes around 15 minutes, which keeps the job simple whether you are fitting one on its own or a matched pair.
