Description

The Omera is a 625mm square recessed frame designed to provide a flush ceiling trim for downlight panel installations. Built from white-finished metal, the frame creates a clean aperture in the ceiling that allows the downlight panel to sit recessed, with only the light-emitting surface visible from below. Four spring clips on the frame's outer edge secure it against the ceiling void.

Designed for commercial offices, retail spaces, and residential applications where a streamlined ceiling appearance is required, the Omera frame works with compatible 600 x 600mm LED panel lights. The frame is installed into a ceiling aperture cut to accommodate the outer 625mm dimension, with the panel light then dropped into the frame from below and secured via the same spring clips. This allows the panel to be removed for maintenance or lamp changes without disturbing the ceiling finish.

The white powder-coated metal finish on the frame blends into standard white suspended ceiling tiles and plasterboard ceilings, maintaining visual continuity across the ceiling plane. The 625mm outer dimension gives a narrow 12.5mm border around a standard 600mm panel light, creating a precise geometric edge to the light aperture. The frame weighs approximately 1.2kg and is supplied with a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.

What size panel light does this frame fit?

The Omera frame is designed for standard 600 x 600mm LED panel lights. The 625mm outer dimension provides a 12.5mm border around the panel on all sides when installed.

Can it be installed in plasterboard ceilings?

Yes. The frame can be fitted into a cut-out in plasterboard ceilings as well as suspended ceiling tile systems. The spring clips grip the ceiling material from above to hold the frame flush with the ceiling surface.

Is the panel light included?

No. The Omera frame is sold separately from the downlight panel. You will need to pair it with a compatible 600 x 600mm LED panel light, available separately from Niori or other lighting suppliers.

How is the panel removed for maintenance?

The panel light drops into the frame from below and is held by the same spring clips that secure the frame to the ceiling. Gentle downward pressure releases the clips, allowing the panel to be removed without tools.
