Description

The Omega is a 715mm four-light bar spotlight finished in satin white metal, with four GU10 lamp holders mounted on individually adjustable stems. Each light head rotates 350° on its stem and tilts through approximately 90°, allowing all four beams to be directed independently to illuminate work surfaces, feature walls, artwork or seating areas.

Designed for ceiling or wall mounting in kitchens, home offices, living rooms and retail spaces, the Omega functions as directional task lighting or accent lighting depending on how the heads are angled. The 715mm bar length suits rooms 3-4m wide, positioning the outer heads near the edges of a kitchen island or desk and the inner two providing fill light. The 220mm projection from the mounting surface gives clearance to angle the heads without obstruction.

The satin white powder-coat finish on the metal bar and stems provides a low-sheen surface that pairs with white ceilings and light-toned interiors without creating a stark contrast. Each GU10 socket accepts standard mains-voltage halogen or LED GU10 bulbs up to 50W equivalent (bulbs sold separately), and the fittings are dimmable when paired with compatible GU10 LED bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer.

The Omega takes four GU10 bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair it with 5-7W LED GU10 bulbs in 3000K or 4000K. Halogen GU10 bulbs also fit but consume more power and generate more heat.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable GU10 LED bulbs and connected to a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. Non-dimmable GU10 LEDs will flicker or fail to dim, so check bulb packaging before pairing with a dimmer circuit.

Can it be wall-mounted as well as ceiling-mounted?

Yes. The Omega can be fitted to a wall or ceiling. On a wall it functions as a multi-head wall spotlight, with each head angled to illuminate different zones. The mounting plate conceals standard UK back boxes.

How much adjustment do the heads have?

Each head rotates 350° on its vertical stem and tilts through approximately 90° from near-horizontal to near-vertical. The stems are fixed to the bar, so the spacing between heads cannot be changed, but the direction of each beam can be set independently.
