Description

The Olympia is a dual-source LED wall light combining a fabric shade housing an E14 bulb with an integrated 1.5W 3000K LED reading light on a flexible chrome arm. The white painted metal backplate measures 180mm wide and projects 400mm from the wall when the reading arm is fully extended, giving clearance over a bedside table or reading chair.

Designed for bedside installation, reading corners and hotel room headboards, the Olympia provides two independently switched light sources. The fabric shade gives diffused ambient light suitable for general bedroom illumination, while the flexible LED reading arm directs a focused spot of warm white light onto a book, tablet or work surface without disturbing a sleeping partner. The flexible arm bends and holds position once angled, allowing the beam to be directed precisely.

The white finish on the metal frame and fabric shade suits neutral and light-toned bedrooms, hotel rooms and care home environments where a clean, minimal wall light is needed. The E14 bulb in the shade is sold separately, giving control over the ambient light colour temperature and brightness. The integrated 1.5W LED reading light is fixed at 3000K and non-dimmable. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations.

Are both lights dimmable?

No. The 1.5W integrated LED reading light is non-dimmable and fixed at 3000K. The E14 bulb in the fabric shade can be dimmed if you use a dimmable E14 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch, but the reading light will remain on when switched.

Can the reading arm be positioned independently?

Yes. The chrome flexible arm can be bent and angled to direct the LED spotlight onto a reading surface, and it holds that position once set. The arm and shade operate on separate switches, so either light can be used independently.

What E14 bulb is recommended for the shade?

The shade accepts any E14 bulb up to 40W. Most users pair this with a 4-6W LED E14 candle bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) to match the colour temperature of the integrated reading light.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable only for dry indoor locations with no direct water exposure. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher within zones near water sources.
