Description

The Olivia is a 3-light chandelier built around scrolled black metalwork with gold patina detailing, hand-finished to create tonal variation across the arms and central column. Each of the three arms curves outward from a central hub before rising to hold an E14 candle-style bulb fitting. The black finish forms the structural frame, while the gold patina highlights the scrollwork and drip trays beneath each bulb holder.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and living spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.8m, the Olivia hangs on a 640mm chain that can be shortened during installation to suit the room. The minimum drop of 450mm allows the chandelier to sit approximately 700-900mm above a dining table without overwhelming the space. A flush-convert system included with the fitting allows the chandelier to be fixed directly to the ceiling as a semi-flush mount where ceiling height is restricted or a lower profile is preferred.

The metalwork is handcrafted and hand-finished, so the tonal variation in the black and gold patina differs slightly between individual pieces. The scrolled arms and candle cups reference traditional wrought-iron chandeliers but the 360mm diameter keeps the overall footprint compact enough for smaller dining areas and entrance halls. Optional glass shades (sold separately) can be fitted over the E14 bulbs to soften the light and protect the flame-tip bulb shapes from dust.

What bulbs does the Olivia take?

The chandelier takes three E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K to replicate the look of candlelight.

Can it be fitted to a lower ceiling?

Yes. The chandelier includes a flush-convert system that allows it to be mounted directly to the ceiling as a semi-flush fitting, bypassing the chain entirely. This reduces the total drop to approximately 450mm from ceiling to the lowest point of the fitting.

Are glass shades included?

No. The chandelier is supplied with open candle holders. Optional glass shades can be purchased separately to fit over the E14 bulbs if you prefer a diffused light or want to protect the bulb tips.

How is the chain length adjusted?

The 640mm chain can be shortened during installation by removing links before wiring the chandelier. Once fitted, the chain length is fixed. The minimum drop from ceiling rose to the base of the chandelier is 450mm.
