Description

The Old Park is a 2-light semi-flush ceiling light built from solid brass with a polished nickel finish and bevelled clear glass panels. The hexagonal frame sits 230mm below the ceiling on a central stem, with two E27 bulb holders inside the glass enclosure. The bevelled glass facets refract light in multiple directions, casting varied patterns onto surrounding walls and ceilings when the bulbs are lit.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m to 2.6m where a full pendant drop would intrude into headspace, the semi-flush format keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while providing more light output than a flush mount. The 320mm width suits hallways, landing areas, compact bedrooms and en-suites. The polished nickel frame acts as a reflector, bouncing light back through the glass panels rather than absorbing it.

The solid brass construction gives the fitting a 1.8kg weight that sits securely on standard UK ceiling roses. The polished nickel finish is achieved by plating the brass, producing a cooler silver tone than raw brass or chrome. Each of the six glass panels is bevelled at the edges, adding depth to the overall geometry and creating a layered appearance when viewed from different angles. The two E27 bulbs (sold separately) are fully enclosed, making the fitting suitable for positions above seating or bed heads where an open-bulb pendant would create glare.
