The Okvane Platform Bed Frame brings a low, grounded look to the bedroom, drawing on Japanese-inspired design. The slatted headboard is the standout feature, with a run of open horizontal bars that let light and air pass through while giving the frame a calm, considered feel. Wide side rails extend beyond the mattress area to create a shelf-like ledge on each side, handy for setting down a book, a lamp or a morning cup of tea.

The frame combines an oak surround with an MDF core, sitting on slim black steel legs that lift the base gently off the floor. A full run of timber slats supports the mattress directly, so there is no need for a separate base. The natural oak tone and matt black feet keep the palette simple and easy to pair with existing bedroom furniture. We offer this bed in 2 sizes, from 167cm to 182cm wide, so you can match it to your room and mattress.

Its clean lines and platform build suit both minimal and relaxed interiors, and the low profile helps a smaller room feel more open.
