Description

The Nocturne is a pair of stainless steel mounting clips supplied with countersunk fixing screws, designed to secure LED profiles, linear lighting tracks and surface-mounted light fittings to walls and ceilings. Each clip measures 14mm in length with a 4mm projection from the mounting surface, and the pressed-steel channel holds the profile or fixture body while the screws anchor the clip to the substrate.

Used in both residential and commercial installations, the clips suit recessed aluminium profiles for LED strip lighting, surface-mounted linear fittings, and under-cabinet lighting tracks where discrete fixing points are needed. The clips install at regular intervals along the profile run, typically 300-500mm apart depending on the profile weight and ceiling or wall material. The countersunk screws sit flush with the clip surface once driven home, allowing the profile to sit flat against the clip without interference.

The stainless steel construction resists corrosion in damp environments including bathrooms, kitchens and outdoor covered areas, and the 4mm projection keeps the profile clear of uneven plaster or tile surfaces. Each clip weighs approximately 3g and the pair together supports profiles up to 2kg in weight when fixed to solid substrates. The clips work with most standard LED profile systems including those from Ideal Lux, Sensio and generic aluminium extrusions with corresponding channel widths.
