Description

The Noctra is an 80cm LED bathroom wall light with an integrated 18W 3000K LED housed in a cylindrical opal polycarbonate diffuser. The body is powder-coated aluminium with matching white end caps, carrying an IP54 rating for protection against water splashes and dust ingress. The 57mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting close to the surface without protruding into smaller bathroom spaces.

Designed for mounting above large mirrors, vanity units and along tiled walls in bathrooms, shower rooms and en-suites, the 80cm length provides even illumination across a 90-120cm mirror width or dual-basin vanity unit. The IP54 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3 where direct water jets and submersion are not present. The fitting mounts horizontally on a standard ceiling rose or twin-screw back plate and requires mains connection to a switched circuit.

The opal polycarbonate diffuser distributes the 18W LED output evenly across its length without visible hotspots or striping, producing a uniform 3000K warm white light output that renders skin tones naturally under typical bathroom lighting conditions. The powder-coated aluminium body resists corrosion in humid environments and the polycarbonate diffuser handles thermal expansion from the integrated LED without cracking or discolouration. The white finish pairs with white tiles, sanitary ware and bathroom furniture without clashing against cooler grey or warmer cream tones.

The Noctra carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty covering the integrated LED module, driver and housing. The LED is non-replaceable but rated for 25,000+ hours of operation, equivalent to approximately 8 years of typical bathroom use at 3 hours per day.

Can this be used in a shower cubicle?

The IP54 rating provides protection against water splashes but not direct water jets or submersion. The Noctra is suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 (outside the shower enclosure itself) but not zone 1 (inside the shower or bath). For zone 1 installation, an IP65 or higher rated fitting is required.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 18W LED module is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced. However, the LED is rated for 25,000+ hours of operation, equivalent to approximately 8 years of typical bathroom use at 3 hours per day, and carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty.

What mirror width does the 80cm light suit?
