Description

The Noctis is a 20cm cylindrical flush ceiling light in satin brass with a 60mm diameter and a single GU10 bulb fitting. The cylinder is formed from turned aluminium finished in satin brass, which diffuses light softly while directing the majority of output downward through the open base. The flush-mount design sits close to the ceiling with minimal projection.

Designed for hallways, compact entryways, cloakrooms, and above side tables or console furniture where directed downlight is needed without a pendant drop, the Noctis fits ceilings as low as 2.2m without intrusion into head clearance. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to 50W (sold separately), giving control over beam angle, colour temperature and brightness to suit the specific application.

The satin brass finish provides a soft metallic accent that works in both warm-toned traditional interiors and contemporary schemes pairing brass with whites, greys or darker accent colours. The turned aluminium construction gives the light a solid 0.4kg weight despite the compact 60mm diameter, and the IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

What bulb does the Noctis take?

The Noctis takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 50W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a GU10 LED between 4-7W for hallway or accent lighting, choosing either warm white (2700K-3000K) or neutral white (4000K) depending on the room.

Is this dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming, but the bulb and dimmer must both be rated for dimming to avoid flicker.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Noctis is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, outdoor locations or any space with moisture exposure.

How far does it project from the ceiling?

The 200mm height is the length of the cylinder itself. When flush-mounted to the ceiling, the base of the cylinder sits approximately 200mm below the ceiling surface, with the mounting plate adding minimal additional projection.
