Description

The Noctis is a 75cm surface-mounted cylindrical ceiling light with a matt black powder-coated metal diffuser and a turned aluminium base. A single GU10 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the 60mm-diameter tube, directing light downwards through the open base to create a focused column of illumination beneath the fitting.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, entrances and low-ceiling spaces where pendant lights cannot hang, the Noctis provides accent or task lighting without projecting into the room. The 75cm length suits longer corridors and entrance halls where a single longer fitting provides better visual balance than multiple short downlights. The fitting mounts directly to the ceiling surface using the aluminium base, so no recessed cut-out is needed — useful for solid ceilings or where ceiling void depth is limited.

The matt black finish on the metal diffuser absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, so the fitting reads as a dark cylinder against white or light-coloured ceilings during the day. When lit, the GU10 bulb casts a defined pool of light onto the floor or surface below, with minimal lateral spill. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible GU10 LED bulb and trailing-edge dimmer. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas only.
